ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, Thursday, May 16, 2013: The Inland Revenue Division (IRD), Grenada, is continuing with its implementation activities for the launch of e-services, scheduled for July 2013.

On Monday May 13th, 2013, training for Help Desk Officers, from the four Windward Islands, commenced in Grenada. The training is being held at the Ministry of Finance’s Conference Room and is facilitated by Norwegian Regional Developers (NRD), the firm contracted to develop the Front End System.

The vision of the Help Desk is to provide a comprehensive set of applications that can enhance the service level of the IRD. The training will enable the staff to respond to queries and assist taxpayers when conducting business with the Division online.

The IRD will conduct training for businesses during the month of June 2013.
